Most people aim to remain independent and at home as they age. But living longer often brings new challenges – increasing chronic illnesses, mobility limits, memory concerns, and less caregiver support. These barriers can make ‘aging in place’ harder than expected.
Most services step in only when people already need maximum help – through home aides, heavy caregiving, or expensive medical support. At HealthyLifetime®, we believe in a better way.
HealthyLifetime started in 2019 at the University of Michigan with one bold idea: step in earlier. Instead of waiting for decline, we built a program to help older adults create strong health habits, stay resilient, and lower the risks that threaten independence.
By 2023, we moved from research into practice, launching commercial programs for organizations that serve older adults. Today, we offer three core products:
• Know Your Score gives you your personalized score of your risk of losing independence and which 10 key factors contribute to your score.
• Inspire helps you turn insights into an action plan with tailored goals.
• Soar provides coaching and ongoing guidance, so you can stay on track and adjust as your needs change.
Our mission remains clear: help older adults live well, with confidence and independence, for as long as possible.
